My Adventure

I've made 2 necklaces last night.

For the 1st necklace, I've chained up the 925 (as the shop claimed) gold color centre pc with pink stones (easily mistaken as rose quartz). An idea striked me instantly when I saw this centre pc as I've wanted to make a pink gold necklace. Nice combination isn't it ?

For my 2nd creation, I've connected the flowery plastic beads with the remaining white agate I've left from the "Black and White" creation. The necklace is ended with matt gold chain at both ends. I like these matt gold chians but it is a disappointment that the chain has turned black after wearing today (I suspected it is due to my sweat) =<. My matt chain !!! Sob .... sob ....

Summer Rose

This combination strikes my mind last night while trying to design a necklace for the sunny colored stones (think it is yellow jade ??) and pink rose carved rhodonite. To outline the small 925 rose carved sliver connectors, I've decided to put black agate beads at both sides.

A contrasting combination isn't it =p ?

Garlic ??

My younger sis commented these dyed yellow chalendony looks like garlic. Do you think so ? I thought they look like sweet pineapple candy.... ;p

I've actually planned to make a "Chomel" necklace - mixture of yellow chalendony, whitish and bronzy tear-drop like pearls. But the effect is not to my expectation. So, I've ended up with this design again !!

Black & White

Nowadays, seems like black and white is the IN color. You will find either black onyx gems or white agate jewelry in shops like Lee Hwa, Soo Kee, Gold Heart & many others. These 2 contrasting colors thus gave me the inspiration to create something out from the white agate stones I've bought sometimes back.

This is the simple necklace I've made last weekend; using White Agate, Black Agate & Black Onyx. I think I will re-do it again cos, it does not fall nicely if I did not do the necklace symmetrically.

Finally !!

As I logged on to the blog to update my new creations, I've just realised that I've not published anything for the whole of last month !! Phew......

I've heed SY's advise not to "hibernate" too long. Really, it does make one feel lazy ;> So........ after such a looooooooong break, I've decided to make a simple necklace with these Kynite last weekend. Heeee........ I've bought these Kynite last year, during a sales . Anyway, to brighten these dark colored gems, I've decided to wire them up with 925 sliver rings, chains and flat squarish spacers.

For Ling

Lately Ling is very unhappy @ work.

Saw from a website on the healing properties of aquamarine - "Aquamarine is often used as a “good luck” stone to bring feelings of peace, love, joy and happiness."

Hope this simple aquamarine watch will help to improve the "situation" for her ;p
