Moonstones

I would think these multi-colored moonstones gems look good for a multi-stranded bracelet.
Personally, I would feel this is an "unconventional" design for an "indifferent" pc.
PS - Normally moonstones you see are rainbow white in color also, the 3 strands are in opposite direction.

Impulse

was really bought out of impulse last Sunday. I couldn't resist these grade "A" Rhodochrosite where the stones are clear and vibrant in color..... Hee hee .... Eagerly, I've made another necklace that day. I've hung the 2 Rhodochrosite necklaces together for a comparison. Can't the colors contrasting !!!

Pink Opal

is the main gem used for this feminine flavored creation. Besides the "stick" liked connectors, I've used 3mm sized Rose Quartz beads to station the mobility of the 925 flowers between the opals. I've also done up a matching bracelet. Sweet isn't ?

Fishing

design focus is the fishes used. I couldn't resist these cuties when I 1st saw the fish pendant in one of my kaki's necklace. Impulsively, I brought a number of them !!!

The fishes that have been delivered to me came in different sizes. So, I've choosen the larger ones for the necklace, slightly smaller ones for the bracelet and the smallest ones for the ear rings.

Looking at the 2 pictures posted, u will find the necklace does not really match with both the bracelet & ear ring cos, the secondary parts used in these items are different - Aventurines for the necklace but Green Swarovski Crystal Pearls for both the bracelet & ear ring. Hee .... hee ... actually I've also made a matching necklace. But I find the necklace posted here is nicer =p

Medallion

my sis said, it looks like a medal just won from a competition. Ha ha ha ... ;) That's true, it does look like one !! Anyway, what matter most is, it is appealing to the person who will dare to wear it right ?

I love this centre pc which has been sourced by my Mom. I've weaved the BIG yellow jade piece with bronzy colored Fresh Water Pearls & Swarovski Crystal Beads.

If you look closely at the coin, there are 2 bats in it (facing opposite of each other). FYI, the bat has the word "fook" which the Chinese resembles bat to be harbingers of long life, happiness and good luck & fortune. A pair of bats bring double happiness.

The necklace is a challenge to me. I've changed it few times already and I'm still not satisfied with it. Hmm .... how should I refine this necklace ?

N.J.

Though a simple creation, I feel the 2 strands of alternating graduated twisted boat shapes rhodochrosite (my latest acquisition & definitely a gd buy ;p) is exquisite enough to bring out the beauty of the gemstone.

Another reason for the double strand is because, I wanted to match it with a bracelet I've made previously. The bracelet is made up of 3 strands of different sized rhodochrosite.

But it may not be appropriate to wear the 2 items together - may seem over-dressed hor ?

Flexi

can be wore according to the wearer's mood. It can also be used as a belt (if I'm slim enough ... hee hee .... or if I made the necklace long enough) or it can be wear as shown in the picture or we can wear it like a scarf with a simple knot. This flexible necklace is another flowery creation of mine. The main components are the large Iolite Chips and sliver flower pendants @ both ends.

Blossom

is one of my earlier oriental flavored master piece. This spring-liked necklace is made up of Rose Quartz flowers & matching colored enamele filigree beads; hooked up by MOP Bamboo Beads. I've specially made the necklace to be wore during CNY. But ........ things doesn't go as planned ;p

Ruby

as the name suggest, is made of Rubies - a favorite gemstone of mine. These pumpkin shaped rubies of irregular size are a challenge to me. To decide upon a design which I deem appropriate for these "queen of gems" isn't an easy task. In the end, I've decided to make a simple & elegant necklace (to bring out the beauty of the rubies) which can be worn at any occasion.

Rose Garden

is one of my favorite creation I've made thus far. My initial design is to have multi-strands of red corals to complement the Rose. In the end, I opted a simple and yet feminine design - Jasper for the soil (necklace), Blood Stone leaves for the rose. For a different effect, I've placed the "centre pc" asymmetrically. Isn't it a great combination ?

Lantern

Using a slightly bigger sized porcelin beads, I've made another ear ring. Doesn't it look like chinese lantern ?

ICE

projected a cool & calming look. This creation is towards oriental flavor with items such as mystic knots & porcelin beads. If I can find a big enough sliver mystic knot centre piece for the necklace, it will be perfect !!

Sunshine

My sis says I like to create series of necklaces of similar design for a period of time. She's right!! I dunno why 2. But I know I love the twisting effect of teardrop briolettes. So, here's another similar design made of coral like gems.

Sour Grapes

I simply can't resist any gemstones that is nice & special. So, when this girl @ the shop which I patronised often showed me this green onyx, I bought it w/o 2nd thoughts. Don't u think it resembles emeralds ?

Indiana

I've been wanting to make some causal necklace which can be wore during weekends as most of my necklaces are made to wear for work. Upon a chance, I came across this nicely engraved 925 sliver center pc and ideas started rolling in. Don't you think this piece looks like a tribal accessory ?

Greenie

as the name suggest, are made up of GREEN stones only. Not to let the neck suffer the HEAVY load when wearing, I would think 3 pcs should be ok. Initially when I saw these stones, I'm attracted by them instantly. But I was hesitant bcos of the weight. In the end, I still buy them through my fren, during her next visit to the shop. Luckily the stones are still available in the shop =>. If you asked me what's the name of the 3 big gemstones ? I dunno leh....

Pink Lady

Don't these kunzite look like edible sweet candy ??

It took me a while to finally settled the design for this strand of kunzite as I do not want to bring injustice to these beautiful stones. After finish making Pink Lady, I've always wanted to show it to my kakis. But I always miss the opportunity - either I forget to bring while we meet up or I've brought but miss the meet up. Now, I can show them from my blog. Isn't it great!!

Oriental

was newly borned last weekend. These yellowish donut have been carefully selected from a strand of greenish cum yellowish Burmese jade. Due to limited qty of yellow donuts =<, I've to make use of chain to complete the necklace.

Concept

This blog concept is really fantastic !!! I can now easily share my joy & creations with my jewelry making kakis conveniently.
