Jus back from a short weekend trip late last night from BKK with JetStar. What an experience to begin my trip last Fri -

1. 1st time travelling with value airline. What a "fresh" experience !!
2. > 6hrs flight delay. Luckily we bought travel insurance !!
3. One of the danger zone for the recent tremors

Nevertheless, things turn out well. I've got gd buys from this trip, thanks to my gd fren Irene. She brought us to places where she has gotten gd deals previously. She is gd in bargain & so, has helped us secure gd bargains =D.

A tiring (cos daily only slept abt 4hrs) & yet fulfilling trip !!! Guess what !! I met an office colleague @ BKK airport too !!

From weekend market, Chatuchak

Never ending rubies (PS - Not all mine ;p), green garnet, tourmaline, lemon topaz (freebies ....hee hee ....), all from a shop in Silom (there are many such shops there).

Besides the usual must go shopping places (MBK, WTC, Siam Sq, Chatuchak), 2 other must go places are, (1) the wholesale place (besides Chinatown, this place is air-con and cleaner) Platinum Fashion Mall in AM (2) night market, Suam Lum in PM.

Next trip, I must go to the 7 storey Kitty shop in Chilom =(. We only realised it from the fren of the office colleague. Next time MUST GO !!
